The Green and Cherry display is showing the Woodmode inset cabinetry in a stained cherry combined with a painted and distressed green finish. The counter top and sink are made from Absolute Black Granite in a honed finish. This counter is often mistaken for soapstone which was our goal. Soapstone was one of the first natural stone counter tops used in kitchens. it is a soft porous stone that must be oiled to prevent staining. It comes in shorter lengths which forces the fabricator to incorporate many seams in a long counter top. Granite is much more user friendly. The old fashioned polished chrome faucet was supplied by Franke.
